• Facebook and Instagram were set up by Social Pop in August 2019. Before this, there was no online or digital marketing being done.
• Through both of these platforms there have been 2,194,917 impressions, 59,077 engagements, and 7,474 post link clicks.
• In one year, followers have reached 1,758.
• 28.8% of website traffic has been from social media, and 13.8% through paid search (also a service from Social Pop). If we compare August 2019 — to October 2019 to the same period in 2020, social media traffic increased by 7,753% (from 6% to 40% of all web traffic). Organic search also increased by 387% due to increased brand awareness.
• Referral traffic has also increased by 4,000% by working with other businesses such as Tourism NZ, Grab One, and Northland NZ.
• Before weekends were often quiet, but by targeting the main demographic (Aucklanders), weekends are usually booked out (even in Winter).
